Two Cows Ice Cream

Two Cows Creamery & Bistro is a true “cow to cone” ice cream operation. The cows live right here in Hot Springs SD and the milk is brought to the creamery twice a week to be made into ice cream. The cows are full A2/A2 genetics, which in plain terms means the milk these cows produce is more digestible for most people than what you find in the conventional milk supply at the grocery store. Additionally, the cows are not given any growth hormone rBGH and the small amount of grain they eat is all non-GMO feed. We do not use artificial colors or flavors in our ice cream, choosing to let the colors and flavors come from real food ingredients. At Two Cows Creamery & Bistro, we believe these things are important. After all, you are what you eat, eats.


Meet the Owner

All ice cream and dishes are created by Chef Melissa, the Farmer Girl herself. Prior to opening Two Cows Creamery, Chef Melissa was a professional chef in fine dining establishments and spent years teaching culinary skills to other. They say you can take the chef out of the kitchen but you can't take the cook out of the chef, so this is her way of sneaking back in and following her passion making ice cream isn't just our job. It's our hobby,  past-time and favorite obsession.


For Melissa, ice cream and farm to table food is an edible form of art.
